    One-pass mapping

    An engineer drives the robot around once. It builds a centimetre-accurate map, and you mark no-go zones and priority areas on a tablet.

    Scheduled cleaning

    Set the routes and times. The robot leaves its dock, cleans, works around people and obstacles, then returns to charge by itself.

How do autonomous cleaning robots work?

An engineer drives the robot around your site once. Using LiDAR and 3D cameras, it builds an accurate map. From then on it plans its own route, cleans on a schedule, avoids people and obstacles, and returns to its dock to charge. Every run is logged with a coverage map.

Will a robot replace my cleaning team?

No. Robots take on the large, repetitive floor areas, which frees your team for detailed work such as washrooms, touchpoints and spot cleaning.

Are cleaning robots safe around staff and the public?

Yes. The robots use 360-degree sensing to detect people, pallets, trolleys and wet-floor signs, and they slow down, stop or route around them. They are designed to work in busy spaces such as supermarkets, hospitals and airports.

How long does it take to get a robot working on my site?

Usually under a week. We survey your site, map it in a single pass, set up the cleaning schedule and train your team. Most robots are cleaning on their own within a few days of the survey.

Can I lease or hire a cleaning robot instead of purchasing one?

Yes. You can purchase outright, lease for a fixed monthly fee that includes servicing and support, hire short term for a trial or peak period, or choose ROK360 RaaS.

What is Robotics as a Service (RaaS)?

ROK360 RaaS works like a contract cleaner, except the cleaning is done by a robot. We provide, monitor and maintain the kit, and you get clean floors at a fraction of what you pay now, with no equipment to purchase or look after.

What happens if a robot breaks down?

We monitor every robot remotely, so many faults are fixed before you notice. If a visit is needed, an engineer comes to your site, and a loan machine can keep your floors clean while repairs are carried out.

What floors can the robots clean?

Hard floors including sealed concrete, vinyl, tiles, epoxy and terrazzo. We check your floor types during the site survey and recommend the right machine.
